We formulate, mix and package every single product by hand in California. We attempted to outsource the manufacturing process, and the magic that makes our little jars of Crème Concentrée so special - the creamy oil texture, organic sweet floral, citrus ambrosial aromatics was lost. So we reverted back to doing nearly everything in-house, from the chemistry to the final packaging - there’s no shortcuts here. It’s a true labor of love, but we think the end result is so worth it. Our formulas are unparalleled in performance and quality because of the copious amount of nutrient-dense ingredients. There's no hiding behind any fillers, water, synthetic bases or fragrances. The end result is a wholly transformative experience for your well-being ritual and the land.

Although I am a clinically-trained pharmacist, my approach to wellness is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The mentality of living in harmony with the land and using organic ingredients sourced directly from sustainable stewards and local regions when possible is reflective of my indigenous roots in the Kowloon Peninsula. My mother and all the wise women who came before her taught me to align nutrient intake and activity with the body’s biological rhythms. During my clinical training in the Western World, the Traditional Chinese Body Clock emerged under another name: Chrononutrition. I created Lanativ as a reclamation of my heritage, thoughtfully crafted skinfood formulated to resynchronize our skin’s circadian rhythms with reparation and regeneration pathways overnight to awaken the life in your skin. Lanativ symbolizes a return to my roots with a modern California adaptation, synergy between my clinical training and TCM backbone - using the best of both worlds to delight your senses and transform your skin to its best health yet.
INSPIRED BY THE WOMEN IN LOS ANGELES
The inspiration for LANATIV comes from the amazing women in Los Angeles who love life and live a whole lot of it. I started noticing that there comes a price to living in everlasting golden hour, from premature fine lines and sun spots to exacerbation of inflammatory or allergic skin conditions. There was a distinctively stark contrast to our counterparts from less sunny, populated regions. So we set out to create intensive, inherently potent formulas using only the very best Mother Nature has to offer, trusting in all the wise women who came before us and loved the Earth first. Living your best life shouldn't come at a cost. We CAN enjoy Mother Nature in all her glory, she has given us all the tools we need to protect and nourish ourselves. That is what LANATIV sets out to accomplish: harnessing the most powerful, potent bounty on Earth to reflect the very best version of YOU, inside and out.
